Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, an Essex based market leading Commercial Flooring Contractors with their search for an experienced Commercial Flooring Quantity Surveyor to work on their bulging order books in their Canary Wharf Office. The Company have an excellent reputation for the quality of their work, they are winning New Build contracts across London and the Home Counties Region and need a Specialist Flooring Quantity Surveyor to support their senior management team, working in tandem with the Project Management team and Clients to create a smooth running process for all as well as working on Tenders and Estimates as they arise.
The company have multiple sectors and divisions that they serve, in this instance the majority of the work you will be Quantifying for will be within their Construction Division so previous experience working in this area of the construction sector would be beneficial, though not essential.
Specific Quantity Surveyor Elements will include the following:
- Dealing with Applications.
- Variations detailed cost management of all jobs.
- Working closely with the senior management team.
- Preparing Estimates for settling prior to submission to client.
- Complete Risk Assessments & Method Statements for live projects as required.
- Placing orders with suppliers as required.
- Preparing Job Packs for projects as required.
- Limited visit to sites as required (i.e. site measures/estimating).
- Any Other Duties as necessary.
A keen desire to win business and build the companies Order Books with the right kind of work at a competitive but profitable rate is key to this position.
