Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be working with their Essex based Client, a leading Commercial Flooring Specialist based near Basildon in their search for additional managers to run their ever growing roster of works across the South East Region.

In this instance we are seeking a skilled Project / Contract Manager specialising in flooring to join our clients dynamic team in Essex. Our company, a leading provider of commercial flooring solutions, is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to their clients. In this role, you will oversee multiple flooring projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of flooring projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards throughout all projects.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contract Manager in the flooring or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation techniques, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • CSCS Card and ideally a Site Manager or Supervisor Safety Certificate (SSSTS SMSTS).
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
