Estimator/Client-Facing Project Manager (Vinyl/Cap and Cove)

Athena Flooring Contracts Ltd is seeking a confident, organised and client-focused Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role involves meeting clients, surveying sites, preparing quotes, and managing jobs from enquiry through to completion.

You will act as a key link between clients, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly and to a high professional standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client enquiries — Respond to all commercial enquiries, providing clear guidance and support.
• Site surveys — Attend sites to measure, assess subfloors and identify required preparation.
• Material recommendations — Advise clients on suitable products including safety flooring and carpet tiles.
• Quotation preparation — Produce accurate, itemised quotes covering labour, materials, uplift, disposal, trims, and subfloor prep.
• Supplier coordination — Order materials from suppliers.
• Project scheduling — Coordinate fitters, deliveries, and access requirements.
• Client communication — Keep clients updated throughout the project and manage expectations.
• Aftercare & snagging — Inspect completed works, handle snags, and ensure client satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years flooring knowledge within the commercial sector.
• Strong measurement accuracy using laser measures and floor plans.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence.
