Role Overview
As SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to maximise our search visibility, increase organic traffic, and deliver measurable ROI. This role requires a mix of technical SEO expertise, content strategy knowledge, and analytical skills. You’ll work closely with our content writers, developers, and wider marketing team to ensure all activity aligns with business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and manage the company’s overall SEO strategy.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimisation.
- Oversee & Implement technical SEO, including crawl-ability, indexing, site speed, and structured data.
- Collaborate with content writers to optimise new and existing content for search intent.
- Monitor backlink profiles and develop white-hat link-building strategies.
- Work with developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across the website.
- Track, report, and analyse website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and new opportunities to enhance search performance.
- Provide regular SEO performance updates to senior management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as an SEO Manager or SEO Specialist.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics (advantageous).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
