We are seeking an experienced OIC Portal Legal Advisor to join our expanding team at Carpenters Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA Portal claims, following the OIC process and using the firm’s Case Management Systems and internal procedures.
- Progress your caseload to ensure clients receive timely, professional, and relevant legal advice, maintaining regular contact and managing expectations.
- Identify early cases where proceedings would be tactically beneficial and litigate them expeditiously.
- Take a practical, commercial approach to settlements and advise clients on litigation and cost risks.
- Achieve and exceed settlement and issuing targets without compromising the firm’s integrity.
- Coordinate with sources, medical agencies, experts, third‑party insurers and other relevant parties to advance cases proactively.
- Where necessary, instruct Barristers in accordance with internal policies and obtain formal advice on quantum.
- Perform to a high level in a target‑oriented environment.
Experience & Knowledge
- Previous experience managing your own caseload of Fast Track RTA claims, or hands‑on experience managing tasks relating to such cases.
- Excellent negotiator with strong communication skills.
- Proficient with case‑management systems and good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Commitment to delivering quality service to clients and the firm.
