Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Complex Recoveries Legal Advisor to join the team. The role involves managing a full caseload of high‑volume, high‑value (over £10,000) litigated RTA recovery cases, delivering high‑quality claims handling and maximising recoveries within agreed timescales to support the overall success of the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of high‑value litigated recovery files using the firm’s case management system.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates on the case management system.
- Progress cases efficiently using appropriate communication methods.
- Provide professional, timely legal advice to clients with regular communication and expectation management.
- Take a commercial and practical approach to settlement negotiations and risk advice.
- Support team performance against recovery and lifecycle targets without compromising integrity.
- Liaise with sources, experts, third‑party insurers, and other stakeholders.
- Perform effectively in a target‑driven environment.
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience managing a full caseload of litigated RTA recovery or ULR claims is essential.
- Working knowledge of liability issues, including the Road Traffic Act and Article 75.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable background in customer or stakeholder‑focused environments – with a strong focus on delivering quality service to clients and the wider firm.
- Competence using case management systems and MS Office.
- High attention to detail, organisation, and commitment to quality service.
