We're looking for a Maintenance Person to ensure that all guest areas are kept in good working order within our business. The ideal candidate is proficient in all areas of General Building Maintenance. The focus is on carrying out daily tasks to ensure that everything is working as it should as well as conducting basic repairs when needed. An excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional looking for consistent part-time work with flexibility and the option for extra hours across other sites in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating
- Repairing furniture, doors, locks, fixtures, and fittings
- Minor electrical and mechanical work (where qualified)
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Responding to maintenance requests from management
- Ensuring the premises remain safe, presentable, and compliant
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance operative, or multi-trade worker
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication skills
- Own basic tools preferred
