Flexible, home-based surveying with no points targets, no timesheets and no micromanagement. Carpenter Surveyors is looking for an experienced surveyor to carry out Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys across Shropshire. The patch can be shaped around the right person, ideally someone based in Shropshire or the surrounding area. You’ll be working with private clients, producing clear reports and providing practical, well-reasoned advice to help them make confident property decisions.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Right Person For The Role

  • We're looking for an experienced surveyor who takes pride in delivering thorough, professional advice and enjoys working independently.
  • Professional Membership. Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) preferred, although experienced AssocRICS surveyors will also be considered.
  • Residential Surveying Experience. Confident undertaking Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys across a variety of residential property types.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, defects, maintenance issues and repair requirements.
  • Report Writing Skills. Ability to produce comprehensive, accurate reports with clear and justified conclusions.
  • Client Communication. Comfortable communicating professionally with clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Driving Licence. A full UK driving licence is required for travel throughout the survey patch.
