The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic individual that can provide tax advice across a wide variety of sectors and taxes. Training and support will be provided to the right individual to further develop existing tax knowledge. You must be CTA qualified or ACA / ACCA qualified and keen to study towards CTA. Experience with corporate taxes is essential and experience in other areas of tax will also be beneficial. You may currently be working in an accounts / audit team with a strong interest in tax advisory, or you may already be working within a dedicated tax team.

The role would include:
- Liaising and corresponding with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries etc.
- Drafting reports and letters of advice for a number of tax advisory issues.
- Preparing calculations to support advice.
- Liaising with clients and attending meetings with other team members.
- Training and reviewing the work of more junior members of staff.
- Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
Examples of work you would be assisting the team with:
- Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS / SEIS, staff incentive schemes.
- Advising owner managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning.
- Preparation of research & development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns.
- Advising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in learning and developing tax knowledge.
