Key Responsibilities
As an Accounts Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service while acting as a trusted adviser throughout their business journey.
You'll
- Manage your own portfolio of creator and digital media clients, building long-term trusted relationships.
- Review accounts, tax returns and financial information, ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.
- Provide proactive business, accounting and tax advice that helps clients grow and achieve their goals.
- Support clients with day-to-day financial queries, translating complex information into practical, straightforward advice.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, reviewing work and supporting their professional development.
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and work collaboratively with specialists across the wider Carpenter Box Group.
- Play an active role in delivering an outstanding client experience and contributing to the continued growth of Star Box.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a genuine passion for building client relationships.
You'll ideally have
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients within practice.
- Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, commercial mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
- Experience reviewing the work of others and supporting junior colleagues.
- An interest in the digital, creative or media sectors would be a real advantage, but isn't essential.
