Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Manager to join our Tax Private Client Tax Team based in Crawley, Brighton, or Chichester. The role suits a dynamic individual with experience of private client taxation matters. Training and support will be provided to develop existing tax knowledge.

Key Requirements
The CTA qualification is preferred; ACA or ACCA qualifications are acceptable with the right private client tax experience.
Responsibilities
The role will involve tax compliance and advisory work with support from tax partners and directors. Key responsibilities include:
- Working on private client tax advisory projects for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Attending client meetings
- Writing reports, preparing technical analysis, and coordinating with specialists to prepare or review tax advice
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Handling tax compliance tasks, including annual tax returns and related advice
- Identifying and resolving technical issues, or escalating as appropriate
Examples of work includes:
- Capital gains tax advice and planning for business sales
- Advice on the latest IHT rules affecting pensions or business and agricultural assets
- Implementing new company structures for investment or family businesses
- Preparation of complex tax calculations and returns
- Advising on trusts and ten‑year charges
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in Private Client Tax
- Strong knowledge of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, trusts, and estate planning
- Experience managing both advisory and compliance work for high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- CTA qualified is advantageous; ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified candidates with relevant private client experience considered
- Compliance background seeking to develop advisory experience encouraged to apply
