£40,000 per annum + up to £3,500 night allowance

We're looking for a confident, hands-on Night Operations Supervisor to lead our team and play a key role in keeping our UK network running smoothly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse or transport supervisor who enjoys leading people, solving problems and delivering results in a busy operational environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As Night Operations Supervisor, you'll oversee the receipt, sortation and onward movement of freight arriving from across the UK and Europe, ensuring our operation runs safely, efficiently and on time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Leading from the front: Supervise, motivate and develop your team through coaching, regular briefings and ongoing support.
• Keeping freight moving: Oversee the receipt, sortation and dispatch of freight, ensuring deadlines and service standards are met.
• Driving performance: Maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Putting safety first: Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, equipment requirements and housekeeping standards.
• Solving problems: Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly, minimising disruption to our network.
• Working together: Collaborate with colleagues, network partners and Client Services to deliver excellent customer service.
• Making improvements: Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance and ways of working.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a proactive, approachable supervisor who leads by example and knows how to get the best from their team.

You'll Ideally Bring

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience within warehousing, logistics or transport.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• The ability to stay organised, make decisions and solve problems under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• A full UK driving licence.

A forklift licence would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
