Carousel Logistics is looking for a Cargo Handler to join our team.
Location: Birmingham Airside & Warehouse
Hours: Monday to Friday 20:00-01:00 (25 hours per week)
Salary: £17,485.00 per year (£13.45 per hour) + up to £1,950 night allowance
About The Role
As a Cargo Handler, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient running of our Birmingham Airside & Warehouse operation. Working as part of a fast‑paced team, you will be responsible for handling, processing and sorting our clients' freight, ensuring it moves seamlessly through the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and sorting freight in the warehouse as instructed.
- Offloading / Onloading aircraft in a prompt and safe manner.
- Ability to follow and instruct others in standard operating procedures and work in a methodical, timely, logical manner, ensuring compliance with contractual targets.
- Ability to work at pace and understand written English (numbers and words).
- Once trained, checking and maintaining the equipment (including pump trucks & forklift trucks and all Airside GSE) in the warehouse and compliance with Health and Safety and company regulations.
