P/T HR Manager Standalone Generalist Role – National Organisation – Brentwood, Essex / Hybrid – £42k-£56k (pro rata) + bonus & bens
We re on the hunt for a CIPD qualified, experienced HR Generalist to undertake a standalone, part time role as the Human Resources Manager of a successful, national organisation based in offices in Brentwood, Essex
Working 4 days per week, the HR Manager will be responsible for all HR processes and procedures, maintaining employee records, supporting managers and team leaders and more!
Key responsibilities as the Part Time HR Manager will include:

Providing full Human Resources support to management and employees

Being the first point of call for all Employee Relations advice and guidance

Managing all employee records and maintaining the HR database

Managing recruitment processes
-
Producing employee contracts
-
Onboarding new team members
-
Developing, implementing and updating HR policies and procedures and ensuring adherence to company policies

Reporting on HR metrics
-
Undertaking benchmarking activities (salaries, benefits etc.)

Ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice

Overseeing payroll
Experience and skills required:

Excellent track record in HR Generalist roles
-
CIPD qualified
-
Experience in a standalone role highly desirable

Strong understanding of ER and UK employment law
-
Experienced in developing and updating HR policies and procedures

Good business acumen

Personable, approachable and flexible

Highly organised nature
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly

IT literate with experience of HR systems and databases

Knowledge / experience of payroll systems is beneficial
