We’re looking for a fully qualified Finance Director, with c5 years PQE experience and experience working at Charity / Non-Profit organisation in a broad financial leadership role, to join a successful organisation in Central London. The Finance Director will lead all areas of the finance and facilities teams and will be an active member of the board.
Key responsibilities as the Finance Director will include:
- Leading and managing the finance team, leading all areas including group statutory and management reporting
- Overseeing the facilities team
- As a key member of the Board, actively contribute to strategic discussions giving accurate financial insights
- Reviewing, developing and improving financial policies, procedures and processes
- Overseeing the preparation and review of monthly management accounts
- Leading the preparation of statutory financial accounts for all Group entities
- Leading end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes
- Managing, forecasting and reporting
- Overseeing the development, implementation and improvement of financial systems
What we’re looking for:
- Fully qualified Finance Director with 5 years PQE
- Experience at a charity / non-profit organisation is essential
- Experienced in leading a finance team
- Experience in overseeing the facilities department
- A strong, hands-on leader with the capability to determine financial strategies
- A growth mindset with good commercial acumen and intellectual curiosity
- Experience of understanding the commercial implications of all financial data
- Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues professionally
- A curious mindset with the ability to spot and investigate risks
- Ability to make recommendations for business focused solutions
- Experienced in using financial management systems and tools
- Experience in systems improvement and implementation
- A proactive, results-driven self-starter
