Joining a small and friendly team and working closely with the Creative Producer, the Creative Graphic Content Designer will design everything from YouTube thumbnails and reels to simple animations, social graphics and short-form videos, as well as internal and external pitch decks and branded documents.

We’re looking for someone who can interpret mood, story and sound into compelling visual design and connect with children and parents across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok; you will also be fully involved in shaping the visual identity, contributing creatively to the brand’s visual identity and the content strategy, so we’re looking for a natural visual storyteller with a creative mind and a strong eye for detail.

This is a part time role, working 3 days a week, with flexibility over the hours. Secure on-site parking is available at the Liverpool studio, although hybrid working is offered. There is plenty of opportunity to grow in this role and within this creative organisation.

Key responsibilities as the Creative Graphic Content Designer will include:

  • Creating engaging graphics, thumbnails and simple animations for YouTube and social media platforms
  • Editing and producing short-form videos including YouTube videos, Reels and TikToks
  • Collaborating with the Creative Producer on concept development and visual storytelling
  • Using AI tools like Runway, Midjourney or Discord to generate creative video and image content
  • Maintaining consistent brand aesthetics across all visual platforms
  • Writing fun, friendly captions aligned with the brand voice
  • Scheduling and uploading content to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Designing pitch decks, branded documents and partnership visuals
  • Shaping a growing content library with visuals

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in creative content design
  • Strong design and layout skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro)
  • A portfolio of work to demonstrate experience and skillset
  • Experience with (or enthusiasm to learn) AI creative tools such as Runway or Midjourney
  • Motion design or animation skills
  • A natural visual storyteller
  • A creative mind with a keen eye for detail
  • Passion for children’s content and inclusive, age-appropriate design
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experienced in scheduling and uploading content across platforms
  • Ability to work autonomously and using initiative is essential
