We’re on the hunt for a highly organised and detail-oriented Investor Relations Assistant, with strong business acumen, excellent client-facing communication skills, and strong tech capabilities, to be the first point of contact for valued clients, providing exceptional customer service and support. This is a fast-paced role in a busy environment, so we’re looking for someone incredibly focused and professional with a business-savvy mind; experience within asset management/financial services would be advantageous along with client onboarding and KYC/AML knowledge but this is not essential.
This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week. Our client is flexible on whether the hours are spread over 4-5 days and will consider hours to suit other commitments (i.e. 10am - 2pm). This position is predominantly office-based, but remote working will be offered with 4 days in the office and 1 remote day initially, and then 3 days in the office and 2 working remotely, if working 5 days/week.
Key responsibilities as the Investor Relations Assistant will include:
- Client relationship management, acting as the first point of contact for new and existing clients
- Investor onboarding and reporting, coordinating the onboarding process for new investors adhering to all KYC/AML regulations
- Maintaining accurate up-to-date client records on the CRM system
- Supporting event coordination - scheduling investor meetings, preparing agendas, liaising with third-party providers and more
- Managing extensive diaries across several time zones
- Management of multiple email inboxes
- Undertaking research as required
- Preparing presentations, reports and summaries
- Preparing Investor reports
- Coordinating meetings and preparing agendas and presentations
- Preparing and distributing marketing materials including pitch decks, press releases, fact sheets etc.
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant client-facing experience, ideally within a professional services organisation
- Experience in financial services/investor relations is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of AML and KYC is advantageous
- Proven administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred
- Ability to work independently without supervision and as part of a team
