We are looking to recruit a salesforce developer to support our IT function .

Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions to meet Caroola’s needs with Sales cloud/ Service cloud/Marketing cloud account engagement and Experience cloud.

Salesforce Customization and Development:

  • Design and develop applications, workflows, and triggers in Salesforce. (both standard Salesforce and customized solutions)
  • Build and configure custom objects, fields, and layouts.
  • Create Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning web components.

System Integration:

  • Working with dev ops team to Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and applications via APIs. (Mulesoft)

Solution Design:

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand and analyse requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience solving technical problems with an inquisitive nature.

Testing and Deployment:

  • Conduct unit testing and ensure proper QA procedures are followed.
  • Deploy updates and solutions to production environments while minimizing downtime.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues.
  • Provide ongoing support and implement system enhancements as needed.

Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and integrations.

Provide training and knowledge sharing for users and team members.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Salesforce administrators, business analysts, and other developers.

Required Experience& Qualifications

  • Ideally bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field or Equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales loud, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud and experience cloud
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Gearset.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative and programmatic development (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Lightning).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools (e.g., Developer Console, Workbench).
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations.
  • Knowledge of source control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data modelling in Salesforce.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II.
  • Additional certifications like Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, or Integration Architecture Designer are a benefit.
