I have been appointed by a highly respected global insurer with a universally recognised brand. Operating from prestigious city centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on delivering commercial insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers throughout the UK.

Due to considerable investment in their mid-market proposition, my client is keen to attract an experienced and relationships focused Property and Casualty Underwriter to join their well-established and experienced team. Your role will be focused on building relationships with key brokers, underwriting new business (and renewals where strategically appropriate) to support profitable growth of the branch account.

The panel consists of consolidators and larger provincial and city independents, a strategic approach focusing on key supporting brokers, as well as development of less aligned accounts targeted for growth will be key to your success.

An underwriting background is essential, however strong behaviours are the key to this appointment, and the ideal candidate will be trading focused, possess sound communication and negotiation skills and have a presence in the regional market.

Working for a global market leader you will receive a competitive salary along with an excellent benefits package. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business who have a reputation for the reward and recognition of their people and can offer genuine opportunities.
