I am currently representing a well-established insurer with a focus on Property and Casualty business. As this market-leading MGA with global presence continues with its expansion plans, I am working on their behalf to recruit an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join their underwriting team in Manchester city centre.
Your role will be focused on writing new business for Commercial Combined business, with premiums typically within the range of £10,000 to £100,000. In this market-facing role, your time will be spent developing relationships and underwriting risks throughout the North.
As well as a sound technical grounding, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative, identifying opportunities to write new and profitable business. A highly motivated and results-focused approach is essential in order for you to be successful in this role.
