Are you a published author in the picture book, middle grade, or young adult space? Caroline Wakeman Literary Agency is expanding our list and currently welcoming submissions from talented voices in these areas.
At CWLA, we’re passionate about nurturing original storytelling and connecting exceptional authors with leading publishers. Our agents and authors share the goal of bringing immersive and imaginative content to young readers, fostering a love for literature and independent reading.
We are looking to hear from authors who meet the following criteria:
- Have been traditionally published by a recognized publisher (not self-published)
- Are open to literary representation and new opportunities

How to submit:
We accept submissions via email at submissions@carolinewakeman.com. Please send your author bio, including a list of your published books and publishers, along with:
- For picture book submissions: Send two or three ideas in your email. Include each full manuscript as an attached Word document (without artwork). If your work is rhyming, also send an example of your prose work.
- For chapter book submissions: Submit a synopsis and the first three chapters of your manuscript as an attached Word document.
