We are recruiting a Store Manager for a busy high street retail store specialising in cards, gifts and partyware. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Store Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up. You’ll be accountable for commercial performance, team engagement and delivering a consistently positive customer experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver great customer service
  • Drive sales performance and achieve store targets
  • Create a positive, well-organised and customer-focused store environment
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping and safety
  • Use sales and performance information to identify opportunities
  • Recruit, train and develop team members
  • Plan, delegate and prioritise effectively, particularly during peak trading
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, cash handling and health & safety
