Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a busy dementia nursing home. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Ensure that all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in residents rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, and other communal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
