Caroline Gardner Publishing, a leading British design brand in cards, stationery, stylish home and gifting products, is looking for a creative and organised Product Design Assistant to join our growing design team. Based in our Putney studio and reporting to the Design Director, this role supports the end to end development of product ranges across stationery, accessories, home ceramics, knitwear and loungewear. You will work closely with design, buying and merchandising to help take products from concept through to sampling and production.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who is highly organised, creatively curious and keen to grow within a design led, product focused business.

What you'll do
  • Support trend and market research and range development
  • Assist with artwork, technical drawings and product specification briefs
  • Manage samples, approvals and critical paths
  • Maintain visual range plans and support presentations
  • Liaise with internal teams and international suppliers
What We're Looking For
  • 1 to 3 years experience in a product or design assistant role
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator skills
  • Creative flair with ability to generate original ideas, stay on-trend and understand commercial viability
  • Organised, detail focused and commercially aware
  • Confident communicator and team player
