An exciting opportunity has become available as a Food and Beverage Coordinator here at Carnoustie Golf Links. This is a permanent position, in which the successful applicant will work 24 hours per week, Monday-Sunday, supporting all our current and future Food and Beverage outlets. This will include The Rookery Restaurant and Maxi’s Bar.
Working under our Food and Beverage Controller, Head Chef and Head of Food and Beverage, the key duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the operations in all our Food & Beverage outlets.
- Working closely and reporting to the Group Food & Beverage cost Controller.
- Procurement and monitoring of all par stocks to ensure no items are temporarily left off any menu.
- Assist with the month end stock count to ensure accurate costings can be calculated.
- Help organise, coordinate and manage the storing and removal of all Food & Beverage waste.
- Assist with the delivering of any stock items needed to all outlets.
- Accurate time & attendance recordings to ensure accurate salary payments are made to all Food & Beverage colleagues.
- Accurate reconciliation of all invoices to ensure all are paid as per agreed payment periods with suppliers.
- Regular communication with all suppliers/vendors to ensure prompt delivery of all stock and to ensure we have solid and professional relationships.
- Answer the phone during office hours in a friendly manner thereby representing the company professionally.
- Any other clerical responsibilities deemed necessary to ensure a smooth and profitable Food & Beverage operation.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong front of house or back of house experience in high-quality restaurant and bar operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage with guests and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to lead by example.
- High attention to detail and strong administration skills.
- Team-focused approach.
