An exciting new opportunity has become available to join the team here at Carnoustie Golf Links, as a seasonal Customer Experience Advisor! Working 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (typically Monday-Friday), fixed-term until 31st October 2026, the main duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Accepting & processing public golf bookings and payments or refunds
- Processing of Tour Operator bookings & collection of payments
- Producing regular Tour Operator statements
- Processing the Hotel weekly bookings & collection of payments
- Selling the venue, existing packages and upselling products and services
- Processing Season Ticket holder bookings, amendments, cancellations and payments
- Adherence to all rules and regulations within the organisation
- Daily distribution of mail
- Assisting the Commercial Manager with general administrative duties
- Providing information to Customers – Inform customers about services and products offered, local attractions, driving directions, and provide any other type of information the customer wants to know about their trip
- Making reservations – Primary task is to book golf rounds and create a full experience. Listen to customers and help accommodate them with services that best fit their needs. Make sure the requested dates, products, or services are available, and complete the booking with a friendly attitude.
- Handling customer complaints – Remaining calm and friendly throughout the process, helping the customer resolve the situation. Otherwise, it is escalated to the Commercial Manager.
- Sale of products and services – Offering additional pull through products and services to customers who book through them.
- Assisting with setting up the golf booking diary on an annual basis, including the processing of the relevant tee off time types and priorities
- Supporting Guest Relations team with day-to-day duties in alignment with business needs
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
- Assisting Heads of Departments with events that include rounds of golf
- Assisting marketing team with sales promotions
- First point of contact for enquiries via phone or email
- Any other duties as required
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate:

- Strong IT skills, accomplished in using Microsoft Office packages
