Are you an energetic, people-focused hospitality leader with a passion for great drinks, exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences?
Maxi’s is looking for a Bar Manager to lead our front of house team and help shape the future of one of Carnoustie’s newest hospitality destinations.
Following a significant investment and recent opening, Maxi’s has quickly established itself as a vibrant addition to the Carnoustie Golf Links estate. However, this is only the beginning.
We are looking for a Bar Manager who wants to do more than simply manage a venue. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Maxi’s, influence its culture, develop its team and play a key role in establishing it as one of the region’s leading hospitality destinations.
This is an exciting time to join Carnoustie Golf Links. Following the successful launch of Maxi’s and with significant investment planned across the wider estate, including the future redevelopment of the Carnoustie Golf Hotel, we are continuing to grow our hospitality offering and create exceptional experiences for members, visitors and guests.
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Maxi’s, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high team engagement and consistently strong commercial performance.
You will work closely with Head of Food & Beverage, Michael Saxon, who brings extensive international hospitality experience from luxury hotels and leading Scottish hospitality businesses.
Together, you will help develop the venue, build a strong team culture and create a bar and food offering that keeps guests returning time and time again.
As Bar Manager, you will have genuine ownership of the guest experience, team culture and day-to-day operation of Maxi’s. Working alongside the Head of Food & Beverage, you will help define standards, refine the offer and contribute ideas that support the venue’s continued growth and success.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced bar manager, assistant manager or hospitality leader looking to take the next step in their career within a growing and ambitious organisation.
While your primary focus will be Maxi’s, you will also have opportunities to support wider food and beverage operations across the Carnoustie Golf Links estate, gaining exposure to a variety of hospitality environments, events and projects.
From busy summer terraces and local events to major championships, corporate hospitality and VIP guest experiences, no two days are the same at Carnoustie.
