Carnon Downs Surgery is restructuring our nursing team following the departure of our lead nurse. We are welcoming applications from individuals with experience and skills in long‑term condition management, particularly Diabetes and Chronic Heart Disease. We are looking for candidates who have management experience or the capability to develop into a leadership role. We would consider either a full‑time replacement or a combination of two part‑time roles to cover the key responsibilities, with one taking the leadership element.
Responsibilities
- Long‑term condition management (particularly Diabetes)
- Cytology
- Treatment room skills, including wound management
- Vaccinations, including travel and baby immunisations
- Contraception advice and review
- Staff management and appraisal
- Supervision of students
- Management of infection prevention and control
