In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Senior Analyst, Revenue to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Cunard Revenue Management team.
The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting the maximisation of revenue delivery by being the subject matter expert on our data, reporting, and trend analysis. As well as communicating performance at both strategic and tactical levels, you will also support the development of data and reporting that will enable efficient optimisation of revenue—highlighting risks and opportunities and being a key link between business and data science.
This pivotal role will involve:
- Delivery of the best possible net ticket revenue for all cruises in the portfolio
- Articulating the trading performance, including key challenges and opportunities, to the business; building effective reporting visualisations to allow for effective analysis of performance
- Supporting the creation of a clear strategy/plan for how revenue will be delivered by providing insight and analysis of both current and historical trends
- Working closely with the Data Science team to ensure that key metrics are accurate and embedded within our tools to optimise and support decision making
- Supporting the development of a reporting roadmap and contributing to development of tools and reports to support optimisation of revenue; in addition building and developing new reporting to support the articulation of performance and revenue management of cruises
- Key contact between Revenue Management and other key stakeholders on system and revenue related data requests and processes
This role is positioned at level CUK08 within our organisation and is available on a full‑time permanent basis. We offer hybrid work, including up to two days from home.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience working in an analytical role with competencies to identify trends, interpret and manipulate data, and inform decision‑making
- Strong SQL skills, with a proven ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis/reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse, manipulate, and present data using complex formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query
- Expertise in Power BI and experience with it
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and train team members, improving technical capability and confidence
- Proven experience in process improvement and streamlining workflows to improve efficiency and quality
- Proven commercial acumen
