In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Partnership Development Manager to bring fresh insights and expertise to our P&O Cruises sales department.
Role Overview
The P&O Cruises Sales team is key to helping P&O Cruises achieve its ambition to become Britain's #1 holiday choice. Working with our trade partners, we strive to deliver the very best guest experience, ensuring a seamless and efficient journey from the moment a cruise is booked. As Partnerships Development Manager you will provide account management support for a defined portfolio of development travel agent partners, to develop revenue streams and maximise all business opportunities within those agencies.
This pivotal role will involve:
- Proactively seek, evaluate and build new partnership opportunities to broaden the distribution model for P&O cruises.
- Develop and monitor tactical sales plans to meet profit targets, and ensure the delivery of these plans.
- Manage monthly budget reconciliation process of overseeing all accruals and forecasts for defined agencies.
This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. The clients within the portfolio that you will be meeting and working with will be based across the South/South East of England, to include Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Kent, London, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Please note that this role will require extensive UK and overseas travel, and will require you to have a full UK driving license.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience working in a sales environment and account management, preferably within travel or the cruise sector.
- Experience in marketing, especially direct mail, press or online.
- Proven track record in delivering return on spend and achieving targets.
- Trade relationship management.
- In depth knowledge of IT packages including Excel, Word, Power Point.
