This Home Port Operations Coordinator, within the Maritime Team here at Carnival UK offers a unique blend of learning, growth, and hands‑on experience in the heart of our maritime department. Role Overview

The Home Port Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Home Port Operations duty Managers in undertaking administrative tasks. Primarily, this role involves assisting the Duty Managers in the delivery of operationally safe, cost effective and efficient turnarounds for the CUK Fleet and provision of Port Agency for our sister brands at the Port of Southampton. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working under little supervision. They will be self‑motivated and trustworthy. With experience and development, candidates in the role could seek to progress into the more specialised Duty Manager role.

Key accountabilities for Home Port Operations Coordinator include:

  • Maintain and manage the generic shared mailboxes for the team, identifying what can be actioned and what needs to be referred to the Duty Manager
  • Support the HPO Duty Manager on Crew transfer arrangements and other Port Agency husbandry for Princess Cruises, HAL, AIDA and Costa
  • Prepare and issue templated Guarantee Letter for sister brands as required
  • Respond to internal stakeholders’ port/turnaround queries in a timely manner

This role is classified as CUK14 and is available on a full‑time 12‑month fixed term basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
