Carnival UK is seeking a Business & Process Analysis Manager who combines strong, hands‑on Business Analysis capability with proven people management experience. This is a player–manager role. You will personally deliver complex Business Analysis work while line managing and developing a team of Business Analysts, taking clear accountability for their performance, capability, and progression.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver hands-on Business Analysis for large and complex change initiatives, including requirements definition and process modelling.
- Line manage a team of Business Analysts, with formal accountability for performance, wellbeing and capability, including objective setting, development planning, absence management and adherence to HR policies and processes.
- Plan and manage BA resources across multiple initiatives, ensuring effective allocation and delivery.
- Own and embed Business Analysis standards, tools and ways of working, driving consistency and continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with business and technology stakeholders across Carnival UK and the DTO.
- Contribute to and shape the DTO Business Analysis community of practice.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK07, offered as a full‑time position, on a fixed term basis for 12‑months. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership
To thrive as a Business & Process Analysis Manager, we’re looking for:
- Strong, demonstrable experience in a core, hands‑on Business Analyst role, not solely oversight or governance.
- Deep knowledge of industry‑standard BA techniques and frameworks (e.g. BCS / ISEB).
- Proven ability to analyse complex problems, model processes and produce high‑quality requirements.
- Experience assessing the feasibility and impact of business and technology change.
- Proven, formal line management experience, including performance and absence management, objective setting, development planning and applying HR policies and processes.
- Evidence of coaching and developing Business Analysts at different levels of experience.
- Confidence addressing people‑related challenges constructively, balancing individual needs with team and organisational priorities.
