In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a fully qualified Finance Analyst to bring fresh insights and expertise to our finance department.
Role Overview
This role is part of the Finance Business Partnering team, overseeing the planning, forecasting and performance analysis for a business function within Carnival UK. The key requirements are to supply reliable, timely and accurate analysis of our financials to finance business partners and the wider business functions. You will be required to review financial results & support understanding of performance drivers and variances, proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance, manage risk and support the evaluation of commercial and revenue driving initiatives.
This pivotal role will involve:
- Support the forecasting process and the analysis of month end performance
- Support other areas of the business performance agenda as required including Strategic Plans, Operating Plans, capital planning and Supplier contract agreement processes
- Ensure integrity in the link between Finance reports and operational or performance reports e.g. Power BI & P&L
- Recommend improvements to functionality and capability of financial reporting systems to increase efficiency and analytical capabilities
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full-time permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days from home.
