Carnival UK is in search of a Manager, Technology Delivery, who is crucial in supporting our technological direction and nurturing a high-performing team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and deliver strategic technology initiatives using Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Define scope, schedule, and delivery plans while managing risks, issues, and progress reporting.
- Support Product Owners in backlog delivery and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage funding and expenditure risks.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK Level 07, offered as a full-time position, on a fixed-term basis for 6 months. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Your Expertise and Leadership
To thrive as a Manager, Technology Delivery, we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in infrastructure project delivery, including server and compute replacements.
- Hands-on involvement in network changes and improvements.
- Experience with operating system upgrades, such as Windows 10 removal.
- Proven track record in disaster recovery initiatives and network performance enhancements.
- Comfortable managing delivery in infrastructure-heavy environments using Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with backend environments involving "tins and wires" (physical infrastructure).
