Carnival UK are a leading name in the holiday sector, dedicated to delivering unforgettable holiday happiness to our customers. In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Data services team.
As a Senior Data Modeler, you’ll play a key role in shaping how data flows across the whole of Carnival UK. You’ll take the lead in designing and evolving our enterprise data models — the frameworks that help us bring together information from both ship side operations and shore based teams into one reliable “source of truth.”
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of our conceptual data model and continually improving it as our data landscape grows.
- Working closely with architects, BAs and subject matter experts to join up complex systems across the business.
- Developing and extending our modelling to support better governance and more future ready architecture.
- Creating clarity and reducing risk by shaping how data is structured across many different platforms.
This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organisation and is available on a full time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
What You’ll Bring
- Hands on experience building conceptual and logical models — not just discussing them.
- A track record of modelling complex or multi system environments using tools like SQLDBM or similar.
- Experience maturing data models from scratch or taking partial models and developing them further.
- Familiarity with a variety of data platforms such as Snowflake, Salesforce, Adobe Platform or SQL based systems.
About You: The Ideal Candidate
- A practical, hands on person who’s confident making sense of varied, complicated data sets.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to simplify complexity for different teams.
- Confidence working independently and navigating a busy, multi stakeholder environment.
- Comfort stepping into a standalone specialist role where you’ll shape our modelling direction.

Diversity is our strength, and we encourage applications from those with varied experiences, whether you meet every listed requirement or not. If you’re passionate about finance and looking for an opportunity to grow, we’d love to hear from you.
