In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival Corporation, we are seeking a Privacy Manager to join our Global Ethics & Compliance department and bring fresh insights and expertise. Working within our Privacy team, you’ll contribute to the running of the Privacy by Design activities and integration of Privacy by Design principles—providing expert advice on data protection practices, supporting on and delivering risk assessments, and promoting a culture of privacy awareness that helps protect our guests, employees, and operations. This role is offered on a two-year fixed-term basis, supporting the delivery of our strategic business goals during an exciting period of transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting Privacy-by-Design activities across Carnival UK, including DPIAs and LIAs.
  • Advising business stakeholders on data protection risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting the delivery of Privacy by Design training and coaching across the business.
  • Maintaining accurate records of data protection assessments and contributing to process improvements.

This role is positioned at CUK08 level within our organization and is available on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 2 years. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

What You'll Bring
  • Strong understanding of UK/EU privacy and data protection laws and best practices.
  • Experience of conducting DPIAs, PIAs, LIAs, and other privacy risk assessments in large or complex organizations.
  • Commitment to professional development through evidence of relevant qualifications or courses (e.g. BCS/ISEB Data Protection Practitioner or IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent work based experience).
  • Ability to communicate complex legal and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
