In our pursuit of excellence within our technology department here at Carnival UK, we’re seeking individuals who bring a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise to our newly created Digital Analytics Engineering Manager role. This role sits at the heart of Carnival UK’s digital growth strategy, strengthening the analytics engineering capabilities that power analytics, personalisation, experimentation and activation. With deep expertise in Snowflake and DBT, the role engineers the datasets and integrations needed for personalisation, experimentation and cross‑channel marketing performance. Acting as domain owner for marketing data, it partners closely with central Data Engineering, Marketing and Digital teams to deliver scalable, privacy‑compliant and future‑ready data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of high‑quality, governed marketing and digital analytics data models and pipelines in Snowflake and DBT, enabling accurate, near real‑time insight across personalisation, attribution, CRO and campaign performance.
- Orchestrate event‑driven and batch integrations between Adobe Experience Platform, Snowflake, media platforms and other growth tools using technologies such as Airflow, Python, Docker etc—ensuring resilient data flows for analytics, activation and experimentation.
- Act as the technical owner for digital data within a hub‑and‑spoke data model, partnering with central Data Engineering, Marketing, Digital and CRO teams to align engineering standards, reusable assets and domain best practice.
- Engineer datasets and analytics backbones that power digital alerting, audience enrichment, experimentation and technical experience optimisation, embedding robust governance, privacy and observability into all pipelines.
Position Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Snowflake and DBT, with deep hands‑on experience designing, building, and maintaining production‑grade data pipelines, supported by strong SQL and Python skills and experience with Airflow, Git and CI/CD.
- Proven track record integrating digital and marketing platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Meta CAPI, Google Ads, CRM and other growth and analytics tools.
- Experience enabling marketing segmentation, personalisation, performance analytics and experimentation use cases across digital channels.
- Strong understanding of privacy‑first digital data architectures and regulatory compliance (including GDPR) and how these apply to marketing and experience data.
