We are seeking a Crew Planning Consultant to bring fresh insights and expertise to our People department.

Role Overview

The Crew Planner is responsible for effective crew planning for their designated area, ensuring all vessels are properly resourced as required, responding to change and driving optimal efficiency. As a subject‑matter expert, the Planner ensures seafarers are fully utilised and the fleet has the required establishment. This pivotal role builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders to drive the best business outcomes.

  • Ensure Mistral is correct and up to date with all postings and contract information.
  • Monitor gaps in all rotation plans and take action promptly, highlighting them to the Line Manager and Resourcing Team.
  • Interact effectively with Global Talent Partners to ensure delivery and performance, escalating as required.
  • Engage proactively with Fleet Resourcing, Crew Compliance and Training teams to meet crew planning requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with the fleet to ensure expectations are met.
  • Place the crew member at the centre of decisions and articulate any decision‑making rationale.
