We’re looking for an Entertainment Production Assistant to join our P&O Cruises team at Carnival UK. This is a hands‑on, admin‑heavy role offering a unique blend of operational support, technical coordination and cast onboarding responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Admin‑heavy role supporting a busy production office.
- Managing cast compliance including passports, medicals and visa arrangements.
- Sending cast welcome emails and assisting with onboarding logistics.
- Booking cast travel and coordinating schedules.
- Technical & Studio Support
- Setting up and operating sound and filming equipment.
- Ensuring all tech is ready for use: charging devices, turning on mics, preparing cameras.
- Maintaining and preparing all sets and props required for rehearsals, ensuring they are ready for the start of each day.
Role Overview
The Production Assistant is an essential part of the day‑to‑day operation of the busy Academy Production Office. You’ll be involved in all aspects of administration and production paperwork for the onboarding process, ensuring our cast members are fully compliant before embarking. You’ll also support filming days with the operation of our in‑house studio PA and equipment and help ensure our production shows meet safety standards and exceed guest expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver the cast onboarding and compliance process.
- Support the Production Coordinator in day‑to‑day operations.
- Be an integral link between departments at The Academy.
- Liaise with Assistant Choreographers to plan weekly filming schedules.
- Arrange, set up and run filming and sound equipment.
- Maintain and prepare all sets and props for rehearsals.
This role is classified as CUK13 and is available on a full‑time permanent basis.
