P&O Cruises is on the lookout for an established entertainment leader to join us in a fleet-travelling role. As Fleet Entertainment Manager you will be responsible for overseeing, training, and guiding onboard Entertainment Managers and their teams across our esteemed fleet. This role ensures the consistent delivery of product and service standards, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement with the end-to-end guest experience at the forefront.

Guided by senior leadership, you’ll ensure departmental standards, coach and inspire onboard entertainment and youth teams, and drive engagement and high performance. You’ll provide feedback on recruitment and rotation plans, champion new product rollouts, and implement strategies that enhance guest experience and operational consistency.   • Assignment Duration: Approximately 3 months on board, followed by a 1-month vacation period (unless otherwise specified).
  • Work Schedule: 7 days per week during the assignment, with around 10 hours per day managed at your discretion.
  • Responsibilities: In addition to core duties, you may be required to cover operational gaps for Head of Department or Line Manager roles within the Entertainment department.
  • This is an annualised role.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Entertainment Management within a high-volume cruise ship, resort, or leisure environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ship/resort operations, including entertainment and youth programs.
  • Proven ability to manage team performance and uphold professional standards in hospitality or leisure settings.
  • Experience in implementing best practices, driving cross-functional change, and delivering projects using a Plan, Do, Review approach.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement in operational delivery.
  • Desired: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business management, experience in travel or leisure operations, proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms, and a strategic, hands‑on approach to managing multiple priorities.
