P&O Cruises — Britain’s biggest cruise line and part of Carnival Corporation for over 20 years — is looking for an Assistant Manager Production – Automation to help deliver world‑class entertainment across our fleet.

You’ll work alongside talented stage technicians to automate everything from large‑scale theatre productions to cabarets and poolside entertainment.

  • Operating and maintaining theatre automation systems
  • Supporting live shows, rehearsals, and technical changeovers
  • Programming and running digital automation systems in live environments
  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automation equipment
  • Leading by example and supporting team supervision
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and risk assessments

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, reliable, and calm under pressure — someone who can think on their feet during live productions, with:

  • Relevant automation qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with digital automation systems in live performance
  • Strong knowledge of large‑scale production equipment
  • Confident maintaining and repairing automation systems
