Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Partnering Analyst to bring insights and expertise to our finance department.

Role Overview

This role is part of the Finance Business Partnering team, overseeing planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a business function within Carnival UK. The key responsibilities include providing reliable, timely, and accurate financial analysis, reviewing results, supporting understanding of performance drivers and variances, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the forecasting process and analyze month-end performance.
  • Assist other areas of the business performance agenda, including Strategic Plans, Operating Plans, capital planning, and supplier contract processes.
  • Ensure integrity between Finance reports and operational/performance reports (e.g., Power BI & P&L).
  • Recommend improvements to financial reporting systems to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities.

This role is classified as CUK08, offered on a full-time, permanent basis with hybrid working in Southampton, including up to two days from home.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in management reporting, planning, or analytics.
  • Ability to coordinate inputs from multiple functions efficiently.
  • Excellent analysis, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and business knowledge.
