Sitting within our Talent and Employee Experience team, this role will take ownership of Carnival UK’s people policy framework, ensuring our policies are legally sound, easy to understand and aligned with our organisational values and evolving ways of working. Reporting directly to the AVP, Talent and Employee Experience, you will work independently with stakeholders across the People function, Employee Relations, Legal and the wider business.
This pivotal role will involve:

- Advising on the impact of employment legislation, regulatory changes and emerging best practice.

- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, Employee Relations, Legal and the wider business to develop balanced solutions.
- Driving policy simplification and consistency across the organisation.
- Owning policy governance, publication and review processes to ensure an accurate and trusted source of information.
- Supporting the successful implementation of policy changes through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Identifying opportunities to improve how policies are managed and accessed, including the use of digital and AI-enabled solutions
Your unique background and skills are what will make you stand out. We’re looking for:
- Strong employment law knowledge and the ability to apply legislation in a practical commercial environment.
- Experience developing, reviewing or advising on workplace policies.
- Previous Employee Relations, HR policy or employment law experience.
- Excellent drafting skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and simply.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
- Sound judgement and the ability to balance legal, commercial and people considerations.
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
Why this role :
