Job Description
Carnival UK is in search of a Senior UX, Optimisation & Design Manager, who is crucial in driving our commercial goals, digital growth plans and to nurture a high-performing team.
Carnival UK is building an industry-leading Digital function dedicated to crafting exceptional experiences that delight our guests, fulfil our promise to deliver unforgettable holiday happiness, whilst driving substantial revenue growth. We want to empower our teams to deliver exceptional results, and the Senior Digital UX, Optimisation & Design Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the way we do this.
The Senior Manager will lead the Conversation Rate Optimisation (CRO), UX and design strategy for both brands (Cunard & P&O Cruises), driving the team direction on user experience, digital design, personalisation deployment & user research.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering demonstrable improvements in the online experience
- Leading a focused group including UX, CRO and digital design, the Senior Manager will set the standards across both brands and ensuring these are delivered upon, managing support through the rest of the digital team and agencies when and where necessary.
- Accountability for user feedback, usability testing, design elements & quality assurance of our digital experience & UX projects, constantly striving for increased customer satisfaction and commercial gains
- Driving collaboration between business strategy teams and product development to ensure design change is delivered, alongside ongoing program of digital compliance and quality assurance.
- Delivery of revenue and service targets by implementation of the above as part of the overall digital strategy
- Management of our CRO partner, including business reviews, and demonstrating return on investment.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership
To thrive as a Senior Digital UX, Optimisation & Design Manager, we\\\’re looking for:
- Enhanced experience in UX design and research & ownership of UX Strategic roadmaps
- Proven background using optimisation and testing methodologies to improve outputs
- Deep understanding of user design principles
- Previous experience with managing and collaborating with Product and Development teams
- Data driven with a sound experience in AB and Multi-Variate Testing
