Carnival UK is seeking a forward-thinkingProduct Managerto lead the evolution of ourcrew and shoreside team digital products, which are essential to delivering seamless travel experiences for our guests. This role is pivotal in shaping how our internal teams prepare for and support every journey, ensuring that every guest interaction is underpinned by world-class operational excellence.
We are re-shaping Technology to deliver a vivid new vision that supports our growth and transformation from a traditional legacy estate. By leveraging cutting-edge digital technologies and agile methodologies, we aim to enhance the experience of ourcrew, shoreside teams, and ultimately our guests.
The successful Product Manager will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our product strategy across internal-facing platforms, ensuring alignment with our overall business goals. They will lead and influence cross-functional teams, manage product lifecycles, and leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve our offerings. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in technology and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crew & Shoreside Product Leadership:Own the roadmap and development of digital products that empower our crew and shoreside teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Guest Journey Enablement:While not directly guest-facing, your work will be instrumental in ensuring our teams are equipped to provide seamless embarkation, pre-travel, and onboard services.
- Industry Insight:Stay attuned to global travel trends, regulatory changes, and innovations across the destinations we visit, ensuring our products remain competitive and compliant.
- Digital Transformation:Drive initiatives that align with our broader digital strategy, including mobile apps, operational platforms, and integrated systems.
- Product Lifecycle Management:Oversee the full product lifecycle—from vision and strategy to development, implementation, and retirement.
- Cross-functional Leadership:Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align product goals with business objectives.
- Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a team of product owners, fostering a high-performing and innovative culture.
- Hardware/Software Integration:Ensure seamless integration of digital solutions with physical infrastructure.
- Travel: Occasional international travel to our ships, including some evening and weekend work.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in technology services, ideally within hospitality, travel, or service-based sectors.
- Experience in the travel industry or with booking systems is essential.
- Background in internal-facing platforms or operational support systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms (apps, websites, e-commerce) and their role in enhancing operational and customer experience.
- Experience and certification in Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Flexibility to travel internationally.
