Job Description
In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a CRM Executive Campaign Planner to bring fresh insights and expertise to our P&O Cruises Sales & Marketing Function.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for the planning and execution of key campaign communications which help tactically fill our ships as well as deliver longer term strategic holiday sales.
This role would suit a competent CRM Marketer who has strong technical knowledge of CRM models, data and systems. The role holder will be required to operate effectively and efficiently on their own, leading projects, working with senior stakeholders and making decisions on how their work influences guest behaviour.
The role holder will be proficient at understanding the correlation between engagement and conversion and will draw on their CRM knowledge to ensure campaign comms drive volume of traffic to sales channels. A solid understanding of the practises of CRM personalisation will be required.
This role will include:
- End to end campaign planning of sales and engagement comms, taking responsibility for gathering insights, selecting audiences based on knowledge of our database, all aspects of implementation and reporting and owning budget responsibility for your campaigns.
- Management of strong relationships with our agency partners, leading status meetings, supporting the CRM manager on maintaining our budget and supporting junior members of the CRM team as appropriate.
- Technical ability to translate segmentation and data science modelling to help build campaigns.
- Management of the production of all marketing collateral associated with your campaign and to work directly with Data Science, Insights and the Creative Studio to brief, feedback and approve all communications.
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a 12months fixed-term contract basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days from home.

What You’ll Bring
- Extensive knowledge of planning CRM campaigns utilising personalisation to meet commercial targets.
- Experience using CRM systems to build selections and campaigns (Fast stats and People Stage).
- Skilled in Microsoft suite, Adobe analytics.
- Excellent experience in managing agency relationships and working on segmentation models.
- Thorough knowledge of guest engagement tactics.
- Some knowledge of CRM compliance law.
