Role Overview
The Environment team sets and champions Carnival UK's environmental ambition, performance and governance across the P&O Cruises and Cunard fleets and shoreside operations. The team works across Maritime, Sustainability, Commercial and Operations to embed environmental excellence into operational and strategic decision-making.
As a Director, Environment, you'll play a pivotal role in steering the direction of our Maritime Team. You will not only shape our strategic initiatives but also inspire a team of maritime professionals to excel in their roles.
Job Requirements
- Senior leadership experience setting and governing environmental strategy, compliance and assurance in maritime or an equivalent regulated, asset-intensive industry.
- Experience governing externally audited ISO-certified management systems and engaging authoritatively with regulators and industry bodies.
- An environmental degree, equivalent professional qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Formal training in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems or equivalent senior leadership experience.

The role is offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, with hybrid working including up to two days from home. The role involves less than 25% travel, with shipboard travel likely.
