In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Manager, Engineering Lead Platform Infrastructure to bring fresh insights and expertise to our technology department on a 12-month FTC basis. As Manager, Engineering Lead Platform Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance and ongoing evolution of Carnival UK's platform infrastructure estate. Operating across hybrid cloud and legacy environments, you will provide leadership and governance for engineering activities delivered through strategic technology partners, while acting as a key link between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational management of platform infrastructure across both hybrid cloud and legacy environments
- Coordinate and govern engineering activities delivered by external engineering partners and vendors
- Hold vendors accountable for delivery quality, technical standards and adherence to processes
- Act as the bridge between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders while supporting business-as-usual operations and project delivery activity
This role is positioned at CUK07 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 12 months. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Qualifications and Experience
- Strong cloud infrastructure and platform engineering knowledge with experience in cloud and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Terraform, Jenkins, infrastructure automation and cloud-native technologies
- Experience providing engineering governance, technical oversight and managing outsourced engineering providers or technical vendors
