We're looking for an experienced Contract Manager who enjoys working collaboratively, developing teams and building positive client relationships.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the safe and successful delivery of highways and civil engineering projects
  • Supporting and developing Project Managers and operational teams
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Monitoring project performance, programme delivery and financial outcomes
  • Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with quality and environmental standards
  • Managing project risks and supporting effective decision-making
  • Contributing to business growth and continuous improvement

We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, developing others and building positive relationships, alongside:

  • Previous experience in a Contract Manager or senior leadership role within highways or civil engineering
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial management
  • Experience leading multiple projects and teams
  • Excellent communication, planning and relationship-building skills
  • A good understanding of health, safety and quality requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office
  • HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 6/7, SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card
  • Full UK driving licence
