We are seeking a CCTV Rig Manager to join our Water Management team and play a key role in delivering high-quality drainage asset surveys nationwide across the UK's highways network.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading CCTV survey equipment, manage survey operations, and contribute to projects that support the maintenance and improvement of critical infrastructure.
About the Role
As a CCTV Rig Manager, you will be responsible for operating and managing our bespoke CCTV survey rig, capturing drainage condition data, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with supervisors, GPS operatives, project teams, and clients, you will take ownership of survey quality, equipment maintenance, and day-to-day operational performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.
Please note this role will require nationwide travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage CCTV survey equipment and Wincan software.
- Conduct drainage condition, inventory, and mapping surveys.
- Ensure quality control and Right First Time delivery on all projects.
- Manage CCTV rig maintenance and report equipment defects.
- Support project mobilisation, close-downs, and changeovers.
- Liaise with clients and maintain strong working relationships.
- Lead safe working practices and ensure compliance with company and site procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support day and night shift operations as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous highways or drainage surveying experience.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy and experience using survey software.
- Flexible approach to work, including working away from home when required.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- CSCS Operative Card.
- Detailed knowledge of CD 535, CS 551 and drainage survey standards.
- Experience managing CCTV survey rigs and associated equipment.
